What you send us
What you type — a winery, brand, or permit number. We look it up in public records and keep the query with the date and a hashed form of your network address (not the address itself), to see what people search for.
Label files — the images you drop (JPG or PNG, up to four). They go to our server, where automated services on Microsoft Azure read the text and layout of the label. The result is compared with the approvals on record. The files stay in the server's memory for up to an hour so a second check of the same label is instant; they are not written to storage unless you hand them to us (next paragraph).
Your details — if you leave your name, email, winery, and optionally a phone number, a note, and the states you ship to, we store them together with the label files you attached and the check they came from, and an email goes to our team so someone can pick it up. We keep this until you ask us to delete it.
What we do not do
No accounts, no analytics of our own. We do not sell or share what you send us with anyone except the services below, which process it on our behalf.
Services we use
Cloudflare serves the site and forwards requests to our server.
Bot protection — uploads are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs invisibly when you send a label and may collect information about your browser and device to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Microsoft Azure (United States) runs our server, reads the labels, and stores what is described above.
Google Ads — the Google tag loads on every page so we can tell whether a demo booked after one of our ads came from that ad. It sets Google cookies in your browser and sends Google the address of the page you viewed, your browser's details, and, when you book a demo, that a booking happened — not the label files, your name, or your email. Public records
The approvals we show are public records. We cache them for a few weeks so pages load quickly; they are not yours and not ours.
